Junior Network Administrator
(Minimum 2 years in a technical role)

Your Responsibilities Include:

– Act as first point of contact to diagnose an issue and drive it to closure
– Onsite & remote support for desktop/laptop/servers/mobile devices
– Provide quick solutions & troubleshoot the problems of hardware, software and network related issues
– Installation & troubleshooting local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), WiFi Networks and other data networks
– Workstation Configuration: Install OS & configure the peripherals, components & drivers
– Installation, configuration and support of Microsoft Office Suite and Printers
– Support users in Outlook & Assist with Active Directory of Microsoft Server 2008, SBS & 2012
– Support & configure VOIP telephany systems
– Setup & troubleshoot Sonicwall & Cisco routers
– Provide data backup & recovery
– Monitor network performance, identify problems & maintain proficiency with hardware technology

Qualifications:

– Ability to maintain a high level of customer service to all support requests and adhere to standard policies & procedures
– Previous experience in networking and/or IT
– Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
– Strong attention to detail
– Strong knowledge on network concepts like TCP/IP, routing & switching-Strong knowledge with DNS & DHCP Installations
– Extensive experience Active Directory (Including users & groups management) & Windows Terminal Server
– Maintain Windows Network
– Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP & TCP/IP
– Outlook & Hosted Exchange
– Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
– Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
– Valid NYS Driver’s License
– Sonicwall, Firewalls & Basic Understanding of NAT
– People Skills
– Professional Communication Skills
– Team Player

Other Things You May Want to Know

This position is full time here in our Amityville, NY office
We typically listen to music in the office but not everyone here has good taste in music (i.e. Toni listens to sleepy Indie music but we try not to judge)
There are always quite a few things going on and we are growing quickly, so jump in and grow with us (just don’t expect it to be quiet)
